Goodbye, 2024: Looking Ahead to 2025
Did anyone else blink, and suddenly 2024 was gone? As I write this, the year isn’t quite over, but it’s closing in fast. It feels like just yesterday we kicked off the year, setting goals, making plans, and envisioning how it would all unfold.
We’ve accomplished so much this year at The Color Room. Year 11—can you believe it?! Talk about time flying. For the fourth year in a row, we were honored by L’Oréal Professionnel as a Top 100 Salon. We’ve watched our team grow both in size and skill, with some staff reaching double-digit anniversaries, while also welcoming fresh talent straight out of beauty school.
Can I take a moment to brag about my fabulous leadership team? Ann (9 years), Blair (10 years), Haley (9 years), and Jenn (10 years)—these women live and breathe the mission of TCR. They coach daily, sacrifice their free time to go above and beyond, and remain dedicated to both our team and our guests.

At TCR, We’re All About Growth!
Education is at the heart of TCR’s mission. In 2024, some of our team traveled to New York City for an immersive two-day workshop at the L’Oréal Professionnel Academy. They learned advanced hair cutting and coloring techniques from renowned educators Nina Rubel (@ninarubelhair) and STL native Drew Schaefering (@drewschaefering).
Why does continuing education matter? Because perfectly styled hair doesn’t happen by accident. Staying on top of the latest techniques means we can offer fresh, trend-forward styles that exceed your expectations. It’s what makes TCR a one-of-a-kind salon and spa in St. Charles County.
In 2025, thanks to your incredible support and retail purchases, we’re taking it even further with amazing continuing education opportunities! From advanced color and bridal training to a brand-new extension course in Scottsdale, AZ this March, the TCR team is ready to bring back fresh skills and inspiration. Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share what we learn!
